Marketing is not the flash (a viral word of mouth campaign, a TV commercial, etc.) you throw on after the meal is prepared. The best marketing is baked right into the product itself –your easy to understand invoice, answering your main telephone line by an actual human being (on the first ring!), the consistently great service from every customer service rep, the return policy that doesn’t make you feel like a criminal.

In other words, the entire package.
